legislation. it is a ban(law ) passed against a certain breed. they clam every dog of one breed is mean. disbite there is no solid evadence every dog of one breed is mean, some of these bans pass. when this happens, every dog of this certain breed in the area it passes is taken from the owners and put to sleep. please know what BSL is killing before you vote! Pit Bulls are not born killers they have passed the temperament test over most all other dogs and they are loyal and want to please . The only fault is with the irresponsible ass that doesn’t care for them properly. Gangs and people who use these beautiful dogs in deviant ways are the evil and they should be punished not the innocent dog. I personally don’t like little dogs that bite,chase and yelp around your feet they are the one’s that are not to be trusted.

If you think about it the only reason a smaller dog isn’t scary is because when they attack you, you can get them off of you easier than you can a bigger dog. Piss the right small dog off you can get in just as much pain as getting attack by a lager breed. This is almost as bad as being racist or sexist. Blaiming a breed/size of the dog for something ONE, TWO, maybe even twenty dogs did is very messed up.

I work at an Animal Shelter in England.99% of the dogs we have in for appalling tempraments,and aggression and which are put down are the small terriers.I have seen first hand the horrendous and disgusting injuries JRTS AND Yorkies have inflicted,mostly on small children and other dogs.I had a APBT in the 90’s.Iwould have trusted her over a small terrier anyday!!!¬!!!!!

i’m from scotland where pitbulls are illegal (along with around 4 or 5 other breeds) i have only known one pitbull in my life an he was a big gentle giant. to me it seems the only dogs that seem consistently aggressive throughout the breed (i might be wrong, i am just sayin from what i have seen) is those little ankle biting yappy things

I have been around dogs for most of my almost 57 years on this planet.I’ve groomed trained and been in rescue,my 13 year old red dog(from adba wallace lines)is the steadiest animal I have ever owned.I’ve had bassets,a beagle,pointer and weim.Several mutts and a huge eskimo dog….Plus dealing with abandoned dogs through fostering etc.We now also have adopted an amstaff who my red girl adores.Check out my channel…Point is the pittie is an angel in red fur my heart has a string directly to hers!

I cant believe staffordshire bullterriers and American bulldogs are banned in some places!! I have owned both breeds and have found them both totaly trustworthy!! My American bulldog pugsley weighs 110 pounds and is the most docile freindly dog i have ever owned!! A week or so ago a child in my country was almost killed by an Afghan hound!!

Great video. Ive just had my baby rats out with my staffy yet again. and although she has never had them near her until these past few weeks, she dosnt care whether they climb on her head or lay next to her.
The only way my staffy will kill you is by licking you to death. (and same for all my 4 dogs).

i own to pit bulls and anyone can come around i have a unusually large pure red nose and he’ll run up to kids, stop, roll over and show his belly and i love when someone pets him and he trys to lick there face i just sit there and laugh saying “real mean pitbulls huh ahahah?” oh and if any tried to take my dog im sorry but they would be shot on sight im alot meaner than my dog

BSL is useless! Breeds are NOT dangerous- individual dogs can pose danger; often through no fault of their own. In the UK we have “Pit Bull Type” legislation, a total mess, leading to amazing confusion over what a Pit Bull is anyway! Those promoting such tosh need to look at the man/dog relationship over centuries. They could visit some of the war dog sites to see how thousands of lives have been saved over years, compared to relatively few nasty incidents usualy down to humans stupidity.

I’e owned dogs all my adult life & the most potentially “dangerous” was a 25lb Jack Russell- My Rottweiler then, when attacked (to the extent of the odd lump being taken out of him), would hold the angry Jack’s jaws closed in his mouth till he calmed. IIkept the Jack under close control, as at 15yrs old he was still spoiling for a fight with two local Mastiffs. He did not play with children unsupervised, unless I was there (he never misbehaved but children are unpredictable). BSL stinks!

Animals are like children - they learn what they live. I’m a big advocate of ban the deed not the breed. I was attacked by a dog when I was 16. Very afraid of dogs most of my life and still very careful at 53. BUT, I would be the first person to fight for the dogs after I have now been around enough pit bulls, of all breeds, and have found them very loving and good when raised that way.
