Yes, I LIVE in the US but am from Crete. Seems no place on the planet these days is safe from anyone. Don’t mean to be harsh, but when my family is involved then the situation becomes much more serious and the treat is clear. My home is not a thicket of trees in the forest, I can not run out of sight. Like a dog or any other animal, when in a corner you must fight. You can not sit and honestly state you wouldn’t protect in the same way.

The sad thing is that these animals are being battled in slum countries as Turkey. Dog fighting is not an answer to our own fear or lack of heart, they should only be a trusted freind helping us to the answer NEVER the answer. If they become the answer to our own lack or courage than that acts a mirror, shows a true lack of courage, heart, and honor in us. How can a true man live without honor? If you found an answer to this than you are a true coward and should rot in shame and disgrace

Man has fought other men to the death for entertainment purposes and probably still do so today. I am not condoning dog fighting or anything but if we kill each other over entertainment i am sure dog fighting will still continue.

Yes, you are correct. I would rather have 2 men step into a ring and go at it for cash, they have the choice adn free will to do so. Animals don’t we force them and if they run or refuse to fight they die or are in serious damage. Its just to simple for me, leave the animals alone. If they want to prove something fine no problem let THEM step into the ring. FORCING anyone to fight is cowardly. If you overpower someone and can tell they don’t want to fight, you walk away. its just sad it realy is

dog is the mans best friend so treath them like a best friend…. and one more thing when the time comes your best friend your family your kids might turn their back on you, but your dog will be on your side till the end..

I have one male and one female CO, and all the things said are true. They are very loyal dogs, and would die for their family. Outside their territory they arent agressive at all. And yes these are huge and powerful dogs. The male alone ripped apart a 3 inch thick wooden cage… About the fighting idiots, this dog is not stupid and not bred for fighting, but one thing is for sure, if you let a APBT or any other dog in my backyard, it would be over in few minutes…
