I agree that Golden Retriever should be first because I have 2 Golden Retriever puppies and they are so cute and playful.

Goldies are really sweet dogs
This is based purely on how many purebred dogs were registered that year though, and labs are registered well above any other!

i think boxers should have def been higher on the list cause i looked up there listings and they were higher then one you put before them not the highes but higher…plus they r super cute ( i have 2)

I have to say, I do like Boxers, they’re so cute and gangly when they’re young!

where ever this list came from its a loads of rubbish labs are abouts 3rd/4th no way are they top there lazy bastards there just food motivated thats why the police dont use them anymore. sprigers should be top because of there willingness and all round abilitys if trained properly as proved in the police and other fields of work second german sheperds !

Look, I can’t emphasise enough that this is a list of *all* pedigree dogs born in 2006- to be full pedigree they must be listed with the Kennel club with the paperwork and everything. So it is an accurate list! There may be a difference when you count non-pedigrees, but the fact is there are more than double labs than its’ runner up, the cocker spaniel.
I agree, springers are lovely, and I personally love GSDs, but I can’t change the ranking!
