I breed my Labradoodles and Cockapoos because they’re just so super cute! Not only that, selling them for $400 a piece, even without giving them their first set of shots/vaccines, gives me some extra cash, since I’m just too lazy to go out and get a job, regardless if I’m costing the lives of my dogs, their offspring and the thousands of shelter dogs across the nation. Once in a while I’ll get a couple of runts and tell people that they’re teacups, which usually sell roughly around $550. Occasionally, I’ll have a pup that doesn’t sell, so I either breed it with one of the parents or dump it off at the shelter so I can continue with my business. Even though none of my studs or biitches are UTP on shots, genetic/health tested or even breeding quality, I breed them solely for the cuteness and the cash (but mostly the cash!) - why else?
I sincerely hope that answers your question!

I dont know either cause everytime you go to a website of how to breed your dog it says you should fix your female so that they cant have puppies

My guess is most think they should at least get the money back from what they paid for the dog. Kind of like letting the dog "earn it’s keep".
Too bad they don’t know how many things can go wrong and how much that might just end up costing. Of course this isn’t including the problem of having puppies that nobody wants.
All my gals are spayed.

My moms been a dog breeder for about 20 years, NOT a byb, a reputable breeder. I think your aiming your questions towards bybs only though, and maybe a certain stupid person whos been on here for about a day being extra extra dumb about it. You probably won’t get many answers from people as by now nobody on here would want to admit they are a byb.
Oh maaaan she’s back, can we run her out of here somehow?

The question about i wanna make some money?
That totally applies to me, just not about my dogs.
They are all spayed and have been since before their 1st heats. Why you may ask? I didn’t want to pay for cancer treatments and other uneeded bills you get from unspayed dogs.

Doesn’t that just make you sick all the ignorant people out there that insist that there dog is just begging to be a puppy making machine! Those questions last night by a certain person and I use that term loosely, were making me sick too! Some people should just not have pets! I am in total 100% agreement with you Red Rover! if you aren’t smarter than the dog than you shouldn’t own it!!!!!! All of my pets are spayed or neutered, and my dog was spayed when she was 8 months old!

Puppy Luvr is not really a dog lover!
I think she has given the perfect answer of why alot of BYB’s breed their dogs. She landed straight into that one! And answered on behalf of all of them!
Where are they anyway????
